The inaugural Creative Arts Therapies Symposium 2025 was successfully co-organised by the Art Therapists’ Association (Singapore) (ATAS) and the Association for Music Therapy (Singapore) (AMTS), alongside education partner LASALLE College of the Arts, University of the Arts Singapore.

Serving as the nation’s first inclusive and interdisciplinary platform for professional exchange, the symposium was anchored by the theme "Harmonising Colours: United in Creative Arts Therapies."

Attracting 240 individuals—including art, music, dance movement, and drama therapists, students, and allied professionals—the event was graced by Guest of Honour, Professor Kwok Kian Woon, Vice-Chancellor, University of the Arts Singapore. Highlights included engaging panel discussions where practitioners shared real-world experiences, and esteemed allies—including educators, healthcare leaders, and community partners—explored the broader impact of creative arts therapies on health, resilience, and social inclusion.
